Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, the Jockey Club TourHeart+ Project is organised by The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The Project strives to promote mental health and anti-stigma among the general public through evidence-based interventions with the help of modern technologies. The Project established a one-stop online psychological self-help platform, the first of its kind in Hong Kong, and provide services that integrate both online and offline elements in order to:
1) provide early intervention to psychological distress;
2) prevent depression and anxiety;
3) encourage mental health and personal growth;
4) promote mental health awareness and stigma reduction.

Diversity and Well-being Laboratory
Founded by Professor Winnie Mak, the Diversity and Well-being Laboratory focuses on the research of stigma, mental health recovery, and mindfulness. Our lab strives to promote well-being to the general public and advocate for mental health service reform and equal rights. We study and believe in diversity and the right to a flourishing life in every individual. We hope to go beyond research and make impact in our society.
Co-organiser
Co-founded by Professor Winnie Mak, professor at the Department of Psychology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Amanda Li, a clinical psychologist, in 2015, and becomes a social enterprise in 2019. StoryTaler aims to promote mental health and eradicate discrimination, labeling, and misunderstanding towards mental illness. Our members include people with lived experience, people who have received psychology or clinical psychology training, and those who are interested in mental health.
Through first-person story sharing, StoryTaler promotes understanding in mental health and reduces stigma. StoryTaler has been invited to schools, corporates, and NGOs to conduct workshops and training to raise mental health awareness.
